Shauna Vaske is the founder, master artist, and educator behind The Ink Lounge.
Shauna believes every client deserves an experience that feels personal, comfortable, and tailored to their individual goals. Her approach focuses on enhancing natural beauty while creating results that help clients feel confident and empowered.
In addition to working with clients, Shauna mentors aspiring artists through The Ink Lounge Apprenticeship Program. Her hands-on approach combines technical expertise, real-world experience, and personalized guidance to help students build confidence and develop successful careers in the beauty industry.
Whether serving a client or mentoring an apprentice, Shauna’s mission remains the same: to create beautiful results, inspire confidence, and elevate the standard of the industry.
Taylor Viertel
Apprentice
Taylor has spent the last several years building her career in the beauty industry as a licensed cosmetologist at Mechanix + Co The Salon. Her passion for helping others feel confident and beautiful has inspired her to continue growing her skills and expanding into the world of Permanent Makeup
As an apprentice with The Ink Lounge, Taylor is receiving hands-on training in PMU techniques while learning from experienced artists and educators. She is dedicated to creating natural-looking enhancements, providing a welcoming experience, and helping clients feel empowered in their everyday lives
Taylor believes beauty should feel effortless and confidence should come naturally. She looks forward to serving clients throughout her apprenticeship journey and beyond.
Ginny Wockenfus
Apprentice
Originally from Hugo and now living in Sandstone, Ginny spent many years working in healthcare, leadership, and corrections before following her passion and launching her own lash extension business. What began as a dream has grown into a successful career, and for more than five years she has proudly served clients at her salon in Pine City.
As her passion for the beauty industry continues to grow, Ginny is expanding her expertise through advanced training in Permanent Makeup (PMU), including microblading and ombré brows. She is dedicated to helping her clients look and feel their best through personalized care, exceptional service, and attention to detail. Ginny is grateful for the trust her clients have placed in her and looks forward to helping even more people feel confident, beautiful, and empowered.
